Igbego Ogwuche is a transformational leader, apostle, co-pastor, author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She co-leads Army of God Ministries alongside her husband, Apostle Fred Ogwuche, with whom she has shared fourteen years of marriage and ministry partnership. Together they are committed to equipping believers to discover their divine mandate and walk in spiritual authority. Whether teaching, writing, leading prayer, or speaking, she carries one mission: to deliver, equip, and mobilize people to fulfill their divine calling and impact the Kingdom.
Igbego was born in Nigeria and came to the United States at five, arriving in New York City with her mother, who was pregnant with her brother. She was a creative from the beginning: painting and drawing by nine, winning art awards in elementary and junior high school, and rapping by twelve. After a year of high school in New York, her mother sent her to school in Cork, Ireland, where she spent a year and a half before returning to finish her senior year in the States. She went on to study communications at York College and later trained in cosmetology, the artist’s hand finding one more medium.
Kingdom by identity. New York and Nigeria by expression.
She gave her life to Christ in 2009. In 2010 she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and became, in her words, a radical for Jesus. That same year she received the mandate that governs her life, rooted in Revelation 3:2: “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die.” She became an evangelist, carrying her rap gift onto the trains of New York to preach to strangers. In 2011 she met Fred Ogwuche; they courted for a year and married in 2012. For two more years she pursued music as ministry, until 2014, when she felt a strong pull to lay it down as her Isaac. She would not touch a microphone for twelve years.
For a long time she ran from preaching. She believed she was called only to the marketplace, never the pulpit, and stayed behind the scenes, supporting her husband in the call she thought was his alone. He vehemently refused to let her stay there, and made it his commitment that she would fulfill every dimension of her calling. In 2021 she finally yielded and preached her first sermon, Make Room for Justice. Something in her clicked and aligned. She knew. She left the marketplace and set down her artistry entirely to give the assignment her whole heart.
While she ran from the pulpit, the New York marketplace became her training ground. From 2017 to the start of 2020 she worked inside the New York fashion industry as a creative director, co-owning a showroom, a magazine, and a public relations company. She worked New York Fashion Week, commercial sets, and film sets, directed campaigns for brands like Cadillac, and worked alongside Ford Models, Elite Model Management, and Wilhelmina. She helped place designers and models in high end magazines, including Essence, and in film and television. Everything she would later build under URI & HUR and Brand & Art was learned in those rooms.
In 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, Igbego and Fred left New York and moved their family to Houston through obedience. That single move shifted the trajectory of their lives, and they remain grateful they said yes. Houston was ministry, wholly and only, for a season. It is where Free Indeed began: a monthly gathering of deliverance and freedom that they held in the city until God led them to plant Sunday services in 2022, and Army of God Ministries took root. Free Indeed then grew into what it is today, a yearly conference held in Abuja, Nigeria, carrying the same word home.
On December 7, 2025, her husband ordained her an Apostle. Specializing in soul deliverance, she helps people break free from limitation, ignite their spiritual fire, and step into the destiny God wrote for them. Her teaching has resurrected destinies and taught believers to live with bold faith and real intimacy with God.
Strengthen the things which remain.
A single sermon on breaking generational patterns traveled around the world and became the book 1st Generation Bloodline Breaker, its companion workbook, a short film, and The Breakers Blueprint, a four week formation for women ready for the cycle to end with them. She is the author of several books, each one an extension of the pulpit. Her passion for family and the next generation led her to found Warrior Parents and to write the devotional P4OC: Praying for Our Children. She hosts prayer conferences and weekly international gatherings, mobilizing parents across the world to stand in the gap and war in the Spirit for their children. Out of that same burden came One Orphanage at a Time, a global project renovating orphanages into safe, thriving, self sustaining homes.
In April 2026, in Houston, God released her to build again. The years given wholly to ministry were not a detour from the creative work; they were the proving ground for it. Faithfulness in the pulpit is what God used to entrust her with a return to the creative and music industries, and this time with a mandate. She picked the microphone back up, and she began building URI & HUR and NNEUW. Igbego is the Founder and Creative Architect of Brand & Art, an architectural growth company built on the Kingdom Brand Architecture framework, and of URI & HUR, a fashion led editorial platform built to define how African fashion is documented, seen, and acquired, with NNEUW, its design house, launching under it. Across all of it she merges creative vision with structural rigor, building enterprises made to last. There is a lot to come and a lot in store, and every bit of it exists for one reason: that she would be poured out as a drink offering to her generation.
She lives in Houston with her husband and their three children.
